Homewood is getting ready for an exciting month filled with events that promise fun for all ages and interests. From inspiring home tours to festive holiday celebrations, there’s something in store for everyone this November. Here’s a roundup of what you can look forward to in the coming weeks.

Home and Garden Inspiration Home Tours

Starting on November 1 and running through the 24th, the Homewood Inspiration Home will be open for tours at 106 East Edgewood Drive. This stunning showcase is brought to you by Birmingham Home and Garden magazine in collaboration with Willow Homes and Architectural Cooperative. The tours are available Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets cost $10, with proceeds benefiting Trinity’s Outreach Hub. Tickets can be purchased at Birmingham Home and Garden’s website.

Red White and Blue 5K and Fun Run

On November 3, the community is invited to join the Aerospace Booster Club for the Red White and Blue 5K and Family Fun Run, held at the Lakeshore Trail, Track/Soccer Complex at Samford University. Scheduled from 8 to 11 a.m., this event honors U.S. military service members and veterans. The 5K race and fun run are open to all ages, coinciding with Samford Homecoming festivities. Homewood Holiday Open House

The holiday spirit will kick off on November 7 in downtown Homewood with the Holiday Open House, hosted by the Homewood Chamber of Commerce. This event marks the 26th annual celebration and is sure to bring festive cheer to the community.

Bluey Day Camp

Kids aged 3 years to 2nd grade can look forward to the Bluey Day Camp on November 11 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Homewood Theater. Date Night at Frothy Monkey

For couples looking for a special evening out, Frothy Monkey will host a Date Night event on November 14 and 15, from 5 to 9 p.m. Enjoy a chef-curated three-course dinner for $70 for two, with an optional wine pairing available for an additional $30. The Light in the Piazza
