These programs include engaging activities and events designed to promote reading and learning as well as to foster a sense of community among participants.

- June 10, 2025:
- 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. – “Meet Live Animals” with the Science Lady at Inglenook Branch Library (4100 8th Terrace North, Birmingham, AL 35204).
- 1:00 p.m. – 2:15 p.m. – Pottery making class led by Lydia Walker from the Birmingham Museum of Art at Pratt City Branch Library (509 Dugan Avenue, Birmingham, AL 35214).

- 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. – Stress alleviation discussion at North Birmingham Regional Library (2501 31st Ave. North, Birmingham, AL 35207).

A donation of $2,500 has been received to support the Summer Reading Kick-Off, which is scheduled for May 10 from 10 AM to 12:30 PM at Avondale Regional Branch Library.
