Birmingham to Host Black Women’s Mental Health Summit
The city of Birmingham is preparing to host a significant event focusing on Black Women’s Mental Health. The 2024 Mental Health Equity and Liberation Summit, which is an initiative of the Black Women’s Mental Health Institute, is happening on July 11 at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens. As part of the events scheduled for National Minority Mental Health Month, the summit will discuss the essential subject of mental health.
Details of the Hybrid Event
Offered in a hybrid format, attendees have the choice of experiencing the summit virtually or on-site. While the virtual access fee is set at $50, in-person attendance costs $75. A separate pricing structure is available for mental health clinicians. With the theme of Healing Justice and Collective Wellness, the event highlights the importance of addressing mental health concerns in a comprehensive manner.
