Charles Ann was preceded in death by her brother Bill Nichols and sister Eulene Nichols Crumbley. She is survived by a large family including four nephews: Bill Nichols, Chuck Nichols, Tommy Nichols, and Allen S. Crumbley, alongside three nieces: Deone Nichols Davis, Rhonda Crumbley Crawford, and Paula Crumbley Thomas. A graduate of Woodlawn High School, Charles Ann dedicated 40 years of her professional life to South Central Bell. After retiring, Charles Ann expanded her horizons through extensive travel, reaching every continent, including a visit to Antarctica and the North Pole. Additionally, she pursued her passion for learning by enrolling at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) later in life to study literature, history, and the English language, showcasing her commitment to personal development and education.
