Power Brands Hospitality Group Enlarges its Reach in Hoover to Ten Restaurants

Representing a significant development in Hoover’s vibrant culinary scene, Power Brands Hospitality Group has now amplified its presence with a total of ten restaurants across the city.

Super Chix Witnesses Consistent Crowd

Super Chix, located at Stadium Trace Village, has consistently witnessed a loyal crowd regularly for the past three years, turning up especially for the fan-favorite Wednesday night trivia. Zeel Zaveri, owner-operator of the restaurant, has noted the sustained patronage from locals, attributing its popularity to a tight-knit community environment in Hoover. Zaveri stated, “I see the same people coming in every Wednesday, which is always good to see. So now it’s more like family.”

Creating Waves with Multiple Restaurants

Power Brands Hospitality Group manages nine other restaurants in Hoover apart from Super Chix, each with its unique appeal. The primary partners of the group in the Hoover area – Zeel Zaveri, Arnold Soni, and Neal Soni have fostered a strong connection with the local community. Arnold Soni, who migrated from India in 1980 and eventually became the owner-operator of the Trace Crossings Taco Mama location in 2020, has found Hoover a remarkable place to bring culinary ventures to life. He believes in Hoover’s potential because he’s been in the local market and understands it well.

Broad Diversity of Restaurants

The Power Brand Hospitality Group houses 17 different brands offering a broad palette of culinary experiences. These include Biscuit Belly, a comfort-food biscuit-sandwich restaurant, to Frutta Bowls, which provides healthy bowls and smoothies. Collectively, the group operates about 70 restaurants across the Birmingham-Hoover area, Huntsville, Charlotte, and Atlanta, with several more establishments in the pipeline.

The Unique Power Brands Model

The Group’s success can be attributed to its unique model that allows local residents to take part ownership in a restaurant. Typically, the owner-operator, like Soni, may put up some capital, but the Group handles most of the funding and assists with construction, enabling such individuals to own a particular percentage of the business.

Expansion of Super Chix and More

Zaveri, Arnold Soni’s brother, and a partner of Super Chix, relocated to Hoover in 2019 to inaugurate the area’s first Super Chix on Jan. 1, 2020. Since then, the brand has seen phenomenal growth. “When we started Super Chix in Hoover, we were location number four,” Zaveri said. “Right now they have about 35, so they are growing in leaps and bounds.” Now, the Power Brands Hospitality Group is eager to add more establishments to their portfolio in Hoover and maintain their growth trajectory. Some of the upcoming projects include a new Five Guys outlet and Grimaldi’s – coal-brick-oven pizzeria.
